Before I came here, NYC had always been something far away and hard to reach for me. It's big; it's exciting; it's full of opportunities, but is it for me? I kept having that question in my head for no reasons. Maybe it came out of a fear that I wouldn't be able to "survive" here.
But look at me now! NYC is definitely a city where I'd love to spend my youth at. It's still big; it's still exciting; and of course, it still offers people lots of opportunities. Surely everyone has different perspectives and opinions about NYC, but it's worth coming here and fully experience it. Lots of streets and corners here remind me of Saigon - the city that will always be in my heart.
Maybe that's why I feel like home here.
